Car Insurance Isuzu (Car Insurance). If you think about it arn't cars a bit pointless?

If you think about it arn't cars a bit pointless? If you take a town and get rid of everything to do with cars e.g. car parks, roads, petrol stations, garages, car shops, car washes...etc then push everything else closer together then there will be MUCH less distance from A to B. Therefore surely the fact that cars excist do the exact opposite of what cars are for..they lengthen journeys. Also my college is really spread out so I spend a lot of time walking from place to place, mostly through car parks and roads.

That's actually, really interesting! :O Cars i guess are abused alot- using it to go to to a nearby store for example- but are handy when you're going far, like from one side of a country (lets say B.C., Canada) to another side (say...Quebec, Canada)! OR like the above answers said- transporting a disabled person or going to the hospital! Lol- it's alot to think about! :P Pointless? No..Try walking to the nearest train station, Mom's house, a grocery store from whioh you would have to backpack your stuff. Take your kid to the emergency room while carrying her/him. No, cars are not pointless. The purpose of vehicular transportation is to get individuals (disabled or physically inept to fit) from point A to B in a much faster time than typical human locomotion (walking or running) and most human vehicular inventions (bicycles and skateboards).

Isuzu . How to Enable a VTEC Dash Light

Enabling VTEC dash lights doesn't have to be a difficult project. In fact, the modification will work with both DOHC and single VTEC-equipped models. Since you don't have to use relay in the circuit, it's easier than the majority of the ones you've seen elsewhere. You'll need to have previous experience with wiring and knowledge of basic electronics. But with a little information, you'll soon have the project completed.
Difficulty:Moderately Challenging
Instructions Things You'll Need
Soldering gun
Shrink tubing
Screwdriver
Modeling knife
12-Volt LED light
18-gauge wire (10 feet)
10mm socket and extension
Wire cutters and strippers
Wire connectors

Step by Step :
1
Prep the LED. Cut six inches of wire and solder it to the leads from the LED. Cover the soldered leads with shrink tubing. Remove the assembly. Take out the screws above the dash pod. Sit them on top of the dash. Take out the screws holding in the pod. Remove it. Disconnect the four wiring harnesses. Remove the pod from the dash.
2
Inspect the rear of the pod. Use the modeling knife to cut out a hole above the cruise control light. This will be the spot where the LED will be placed. Take apart the front dash pod. Lift the tabs with the screwdriver, and take out the screw. Take off the face plate, remove the bezel cover and take off the plastic cover. Install the LED through the hole you previously cut. Tighten the nut on the rear. This will secure it at this position. Reinstall the plastic cover and the dash pod. Connect the LED leads.
3
Connect the ECU and ground wire. Take out the plastic screw holding the carpet underneath the dash. Remove the bolts from underneath the carpet. They hold the ECU to the kick panel, which is easily viewed. Take off the cover. Lift the blue tabs and then place them on the wiring harness. Now take them off and pull the ECU so that you can view the wiring at the bottom.
4
Tap into the wire that's on the bottom row. It's the second one from the front. Tap the wire. Place the wiring harness on the cover. Place the cover on the ECU. Now you can run the wire behind the harness. Reattach the ECU and run the wire along the dash. Also run it underneath and carefully behind the console.
5
Replace the carpet. Cut the extra wire, but it;s best to leave a little slack. Put on the connectors. Reinstall the dash pod. Attach and plug the wires for the LED light. Now attach the wiring for the dash pod. Put back the screws.
Tips & Warnings
Knowledge with wiring and electronic components is required to complete this project.

Isuzu . How to Change the Dash Lights in a Ford Focus

The dash lights in a Ford Focus illuminate the gauge cluster on the dashboard. While these lights should have a long service life, they will eventually burn out from regular use. You can usually find replacement bulbs at auto parts stores, but a Ford dealership will definitely have them. There is no specific service life for the dashboard lights. If this is your first time changing the dash lights, expect to spend about 20 to 30 minutes doing this job.
Difficulty:Moderate
Instructions Things You'll Need
Flat-tip screwdriver
Phillips-head screwdriver

Step by Step :
1
Remove the Phillips-head screws on the underside of the top of the cowl on the dash of your Focus.
2
Pry the bottom of the cowl assembly up, using a flat-tip screwdriver, and pull the cowl trim forward and off the dash.
3
Remove the Phillips-head screws that secure the dash cluster to the dash.
4
Pull the dash cluster forward.
5
Remove the electrical connectors running to the back of the dash cluster.
6
Turn the dash cluster over, and turn the small bulbs you want to replace counterclockwise. Then pull the bulbs out of the back of the dash cluster.
7
Insert the new bulbs. Align the tabs on the bulb with the notches in the back of the dash cluster assembly. Turn the bulbs clockwise to lock them into the dash cluster. Return the other parts in reverse of removal.

tion, "Fixing Electrical Gadgets That Are on the Blink" — the only sections of this chapter that need concern you are those that deal with checking, read ing, and reinstalling spark plugs. The symbols (ff) and 0 will alert you to sections that pertain to you. The bad news is that when the time comes to tune or repair your vehicle's sophisticated electronic system, the bills will probably be expensive. For those of you who have older vehicles with non-electronic ignition systems that need regular tune-ups, the good news is that this may be the last book that still provides easy instructions for tuning your car yourself. This chapter tells you how frequently you should do it, what parts you need, how to make sure that you get the right ones, and how to do the main tasks associated with servicing your distributor and adjusting dwell and timing. You'll find this little symbol 0 in the margin next to sections that apply only to these older vehicles. 2Oil Part "l: KeeP'n9 Your ^arm Good Condition, System by System If you have an old-style non-electronic distributor that needs to be serviced on a regular basis, you can do it yourself for a fraction of what it would cost to have a service facility do it for you. This saves you even more money because a well-tuned car lasts longer than one that isn't. Second, a well-tuned car is a gas saver. You not only spend less money for fuel, but your vehicle produces less air pollution, too. Finally, if you tune your car yourself, you know whether it's been done properly, and you can adjust it yourself for peak performance. Before you read this chapter or attempt any of the work in it, be sure to read Chapter 5, which describes the different types of electrical systems on your car: the starting, charging, and ignition systems. See your owner's manual for recommended tune-up intervals, but be aware that even if it says that the vehicle doesn't require scheduled tune-ups very often, it's in your best interest to check periodically that it's working at peak efficiency.
